This was my 2nd, technically “3rd” purchase from Engraven. My first card was amazing. Since then, I’ve had nothing but a poor experience with the quality of my most recent cards.
As you’ll see in the photos, the king and queen card was supposed to be my original second purchase. It came missing half of the details on the king, the queen’s head cut off, and was crooked. The team was kind enough to give me the option to replace it with the same card, and or select a different card. I decided to keep it simple and go with the millionaires club card.
As you’ll see in the photos here, the card came with what appears to be rust spots or some sort of dye splattered all over the front as well as a pretty significant scratch on top. The back, is completely covered in scratches and makes it look like it has been used for the last six months. I totally understand that this finish could have scratches easily on it, but I wouldn’t expect it to look this poor and basically be a “scratch” card.
That said, this will be my final purchase with Engraven. Due to the increase in their business, I believe quality control, and overall quality in general has significantly gone down. Perhaps this could be due to quantity being more important now. Either way, I used to be a firm believer in ordering from here, but now I’m not so sure.
It’s a lot of money to spend on a card that looks 10 times worse than my original credit card. I get it, it’s a really cool look. But it’s only really cool when it actually looks like quality work.
